Ethan D. Ganc

Ethan Ganc has a passion for helping others overcome problems, and this drew him to the practice of law. For more than twenty years, he has provided legal counsel that enables entrepreneurs and C-suite executives to build and maintain healthy businesses.

Ethan began his practice working at one of New York City’s most respected boutique corporate bankruptcy and restructuring firms. It was through this experience that Ethan learned to identify the causes of business distress and work with his clients to address the issues facing their businesses. That ability now enables him to spot issues before they become problems and guide his clients towards healthier business operations.

During his career, Ethan has worked with a variety of businesses, including:

  • Commercial landlords
  • Real estate investors
  • Equipment leasing and financing companies
  • General contractors
  • Advertising agencies
  • Apparel manufacturers
  • Lighting manufacturers
  • Magazine publishers

Ethan has experience representing these businesses and their owners on a range of matters including:

  • Serving as outside general counsel
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial lease agreements, vendor contracts, consulting agreements, and non-disclosure agreements, among others
  • Protecting the rights of creditors, including commercial lenders, in all types of bankruptcy proceedings
  • Representing corporate and individual debtors in all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings under Chapters 11, 7, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code
